CLINICAL SUPERVISOR (FULL TIME NIGHTS) ICU

Job Summary
Assume shift responsibility and accountability for planning and providing direct and indirect nursing care to patients, families, and care partners in the ICU. Coordinate multi-disciplinary team members and direct nursing staff to facilitate safe, optimal health care outcomes. Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team while overseeing employees under supervision. Demonstrate Service Excellence standards at all times, grounding all care in Patient Centered Care principles. Requires a BSN, current Nevada RN license, and proficiency in cardiovascular assessment, EKG interpretation, and cardiac arrhythmias. Full-time night shift with comprehensive benefits including 401(k) match and extensive education programs.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- BSN
- Minimum of one-year full time or three years part time experience in acute care specialty nursing
- One to three years supervisory experience preferred
- Must be proficient in physical assessment of the cardiovascular patient
- Fluent in cardiovascular anatomy and physiology
- Comfortable with 12 lead EKG interpretation
- Knowledgeable and experienced in stress testing
- Current RN license in the State of Nevada
- Current BLS Certification
- ACLS, PALS, NRP and/or required specialty training or course completion (current upon hire)
- Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility
Desired Qualifications
- One to three years supervisory experience preferred
- Knowledgeable and experienced in stress testing
