Job Summary
Clinical Supervisor responsible for planning and provision of direct and indirect nursing care during night shifts in the ICU. Leads and coordinates a multidisciplinary team to achieve safe, optimal patient outcomes and supports professional leadership within the healthcare team. Requires BSN, RN license, BLS, ACLS/PALS/NRP or equivalent, and cardiovascular expertise including 12-lead EKG interpretation; supervisory experience preferred. Located at Summerlin Hospital with ties to VHS/UHS leadership and centers of excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. BSN Required.
- Current RN license in the State of Nevada.
- Current BLS Certification.
- ACLS, PALS, NRP and/or required specialty training or course completion (current upon hire).
- One-year full-time or three years part-time experience in acute care nursing.
- One to three years supervisory experience preferred.
- Proficiency in 12-lead EKG interpretation and cardiac arrhythmias.
