CLINICAL SUPERVISOR (FULL TIME NIGHTS) CARDIAC CARE UNIT

Job Summary
Coordinate multi-disciplinary team members and direct nursing staff in obtaining safe, optimal health care outcomes on the cardiac care unit. Assume shift responsibility for planning and providing direct and indirect nursing care to patients, families, and care partners. Guide employees under supervision while demonstrating Service Excellence standards and supporting activities aligned with facility vision and goals. Interpret 12-lead EKGs, manage cardiac arrhythmias, and apply advanced cardiovascular anatomy and physiology to patient-centered care. Requires BSN, current Nevada RN license, and ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications. Full-time night shift with competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- BSN
- Minimum of one-year full time or three years part time experience in acute care specialty nursing
- One to three years supervisory experience preferred
- Must be proficient in physical assessment of the cardiovascular patient
- Fluent in cardiovascular anatomy and physiology
- Comfortable with 12 lead EKG interpretation
- Knowledgeable and experienced in stress testing
- Current RN license in the State of Nevada
- Current BLS Certification
- ACLS, PALS, NRP and/or required specialty training or course completion (current upon hire)
- Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility
Desired Qualifications
- One to three years supervisory experience preferred
- Knowledgeable and experienced in stress testing
