Job Summary
Clinical Supervisor in Fortune Society’s Behavioral Health unit at the Better Living Center. Provide clinical supervision, guidance, and crisis support to social workers, peers, and substance use counselors delivering therapy to clients with histories of criminal justice involvement, while also carrying a modest caseload (up to 10 clients). Responsibilities include reviewing and co-signing admissions and service documentation, participating in case conferences, onboarding new clinical staff, and providing rotating on-call crisis coverage; ensure timely documentation and maintain therapeutic alliances. The role requires remote-work capability on some days, strong engagement and counseling skills, proficiency with electronic health records, and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across OMH/OASAS clinics and satellite sites.
Required Qualifications
- LCSW required
- CASAC credential is a plus
- Minimum of three years overall clinical experience required, with at least one year of supervisory experience
- Experience in dealing with psychiatric issues, trauma or incarceration desired
- Ability to work remotely via Zoom on some days in a private home-office location required
- Excellent client-engagement and counseling skills
- Excellent clinical documentation and time management skills
- Strong computer skills, particularly with electronic health records
- Bilingual Spanish-speaking is a plus
- SIFI certification is a plus
