Job Summary
Oversee daily operations of the Bronx Residential Program by assigning cases, scheduling work by priority, and maintaining supervision notes. Conduct audits of client charts to ensure comprehensive service planning and enforce home visit policies. Supervise case managers through performance reviews, training, and direct case conferences while ensuring compliance with HRA, HPD, and regulatory standards. Coordinate efforts to maintain a 95% monthly occupancy rate and place new HASA clients within 30 days of referral. Prepare program statistics, reports, and special assessments for submission. This role acts as the manager in charge during the Program Director's absence. The position requires a Master's in Social Work and LMSW licensure, with experience serving HIV/AIDS and homeless populations.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Social Work
- Four (4) years' Supervisory work experience overseeing a case management team
- Individual, family and group counseling experience
- Experience particularly with HIV/AIDS affected populations and/or mental health and substance abuse individuals who were formerly homeless
- Knowledge and hands-on experience in providing direct services related to the treatment and recovery of persons with HIV/AIDS, substance abuse, serious mental illness, and homelessness
- Ability to perform and manage in a team approach
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle complex challenges and balance multiple demands on time and attention
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency with MS Office and Google product suites
- Active New York State licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LMSW)
Desired Qualifications
- Credentialed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counseling (CASAC-T or CASAC)
- Bilingual skills in English/Spanish
