Job Summary
Clinical Supervisor for the DHS congregate program in the Bronx responsible for supervising, training and evaluating direct care staff; coordinates the delivery of social support services to clients; assists with intake processes; conducts initial and annual psychosocial assessments; develops comprehensive service plans; ensures documentation and quality assurance; collaborates with case management, maintenance staff, and DHS/OTDA; oversees housing placement coordination within 24 hours; and provides oversight for access to government benefits, medical care, and related services. Requires a Master of Social Work and at least four years of supervisory experience, with preference for bilingual (Spanish) and bi-cultural candidates with experience in congregate programs and with HIV/AIDS-affected populations or mental health/substance abuse in formerly homeless individuals.
Required Qualifications
- Masters' degree in Social Work
- at least four (4) years supervisory experience
- counseling experience with HIV/AIDS affected populations and/or mental health and substance abuse individuals who were formerly homeless
