Job Summary
Clinical Supervisor in pediatric home health to lead nurse orientations, perform in-home check-offs, and support nurse/patient relationship management in the West Texas area. Responsibilities include guiding care in the home setting, addressing clinical questions, assisting with patient charting, educating patients and caregivers on disease processes, medications, and home care procedures per the plan of care, and ensuring Medicaid compliance and HIPAA adherence. The role emphasizes coordination of patient care, quality improvement practices, and maintaining patient records, with opportunities to contribute to policy-driven home health services and staff development.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with current license
- 1 year of direct patient care experience is preferred
- Ability to relate positively with patients and staff
- Good oral and written communication
- Minimum of 2 professional references
- Current CPR certificate from American Heart Association or other approved source
- Must comply with employee handbook policies
