Job Summary
Clinical Supervisor position at Bristol Hospice responsible for assigning hospice personnel to referrals, reviewing patient information including home visits, coordinating with Medical Director and Attending Physician on eligibility for services, evaluating cases through visits and records, guiding clinicians to improve home care delivery, being available during operating hours to assist clinicians, conducting clinical record reviews and communicating findings to leadership, assisting in hiring and orientation of new staff, contributing to policy development and education programs, participating in quality improvement activities, and promoting patient- and family-centered hospice services. Requires RN license, hospice home care supervisory experience, strong communication, driving eligibility, and CPR certification.
Required Qualifications
- A Registered Nurse license in good standing to practice professional nursing in the state
- Must have previous experience in a hospice home care setting with two years of management or supervisory experience
- An enthusiasm for providing the best possible care to patients and their families
- Understanding of the hospice philosophy and issues of death and dying
- Excellent observation, verbal, and written communication skills
- A valid driver’s license
- Current CPR certification
