Job Summary
Clinical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing care delivery and supervising clinical personnel in hospice/home care settings. Responsibilities include receiving case referrals, assigning hospice personnel to cases, conferring with Medical Director and Attending Physician regarding eligibility for services, reviewing and evaluating cases through home visits and records, guiding clinicians to improve performance and quality of home care services, supporting clinicians during operating hours, conducting clinical record reviews and communicating findings to leadership, assisting in the screening and onboarding of new employees, contributing to orientation and continuing education programs, assisting in policy development and implementation, complying with professional standards, assessing community health needs and developing plans to meet them, and participating in quality improvement and public relations activities. Requires RN license in good standing, hospice/home care supervisory experience (2+ years), CPR certification, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication skills. Required Qualifications
- A Registered Nurse license in good standing to practice professional nursing in the state
- Must have previous experience in a hospice home care setting with two years of management or supervisory experience
- Current CPR certification
- A valid driver’s license
