Job Summary
Provide direct therapeutic services to clients and community members, including individual, group, and family-focused therapy. Supervise program staff regarding service delivery, documentation, and client issues while offering clinical feedback to stakeholders. Administer behavioral and mental health assessments, conduct training for new staff and foster parents, and facilitate crisis intervention guidance. Ensure compliance with ORR policies, state and federal regulatory requirements, and internal documentation standards. Participate in on-call scheduling, staff meetings, and data collection to evaluate program success. Requires LCSW-C licensure in Maryland, bilingual fluency in Spanish, and ability to perform non-traditional hours including evenings and weekends. Up to 25% travel required for escorting youth to family reunifications.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work
- Two (2) years of postgraduate direct service delivery experience
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in psychology, sociology, or other relevant behavioral science in which clinical experience is a program requirement
- Two (2) years of postgraduate direct service delivery experience
- Licensure to provide clinical services in Maryland
- LCSW-C
- Supervisory experience in direct service delivery
- Ability to effectively delegate tasks and responsibilities
- Fluency in Spanish
- Active motor vehicle license
- Clean driving record
- Reliable automobile with adequate insurance coverage
- Ability to pass a criminal history screen
- Ability to clear a criminal background check for the past seven (7) years
- Ability to request and clear Child Abuse and Neglect background check in all states lived within previous five (5) years
- Ability to obtain FBI fingerprint check every five (5) years
- Ability to undergo an enhanced background check following hire
- Valid driver's license
- MVA check free of major infractions for the last seven (7) years
- Ability to clear a State of Maryland Department of Public Safety and Corrections Services screening
- Ability to complete a bi-annual physical exam and TB testing
- Ability to maintain proof of childhood and annual vaccinations
- CPR certification
- First Aid certification
- AEC certification
- Ability to complete non-traditional work hours including evenings and weekends
