Job Summary
Recruit, hire, train, evaluate, and supervise clinical staff including clinicians and mental health care professionals. Provide technical assistance, case consultation, and leadership to assigned behavioral health programs while monitoring performance and analyzing data. Manage participant feedback and grievances, compile program statistics, and ensure accurate documentation in electronic health records. Collaborate with department leaders, schools, and community agencies to support program goals and compliance with Washington Administrative Codes. Directly oversee day-to-day operations, scheduling, and emergency responses. Supports the Clinical Program Director III with regional team needs.
Required Qualifications
- Licensure as an Associate or Independent Clinical Social Worker, Mental Health Counselor, or Marriage and Family Therapist through the Washington State Department of Health
- Two years work experience as a Mental Health Professional and Child Mental Health Specialist
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Experience with wraparound, motivational interviewing and solution-focused service delivery models
- Knowledge of relevant Washington Administrative Codes governing Crisis Services and Child Welfare work
- Intermediate proficiency with computers, basic Microsoft Office software and case management/client tracking software
- Experience with project management and business planning, including tracking and summarizing data into reports in a timely manner
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, a high sense of urgency, and ability to consistently adhere to strict timelines and follow-through
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English fluently in person, over the telephone, and in virtual meetings
- Visual acuity must be adequate to perform job duties, including visual examination of information from printed sources and computer screens
- Must be able to remain stationary in a sitting or standing position up to 95% of the time
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move anywhere from 5 lbs. - 50 lbs.
- Requires lifting above the shoulders occasionally
- Must have the physical ability and dexterity to perform the requisite heath care service
- Requires exposure to communicable diseases, bodily fluids, medical preparations, and other conditions common to a clinic environment

Desired Qualifications
- Two or more years training and experience providing emergent, skills-focused, intensive, short term crisis intervention for families preferred
- experience working with youth and families in the Child Welfare System
- Knowledge of and previous experience with diverse populations (language, culture, race, physical ability, sexual orientation, etc.)
- Ability to speak any language in addition to English may be helpful
- Working knowledge of youth and family mental health, juvenile justice and chemical dependency systems and providers in King County and Washington State child welfare system strongly preferred
