Job Summary
Clinical Supervisor leads unit nursing staff, oversees clinical care across the unit, and drives staff development, performance improvement, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Responsibilities include direct patient care leadership, implementing Joint Commission standards, coordinating care pathways, supervising hiring and performance evaluation, precepting new staff, facilitating staff development and orientation, ensuring adequate staffing and scheduling, and contributing to quality/safety initiatives and practice standards. Requires BSN, RN license in Maryland, BLS, and a minimum of 3 years of RN experience in a specialty field; preferred MSN.
