Job Summary
Clinical Supervision & Education Specialist oversees the delivery of clinical supervision, consultation, training, and education to employees, agency staff, interns, and volunteers. Responsibilities include coordinating practicum/internship programs, maintaining MOUs with schools, onboarding students, training and coaching supervisors, and providing consultation to internal and external partners. The role also covers coordinating/providing/monitoring clinical supervision for agency staff toward licensure/certification, developing training materials, reviewing curriculum for evidence-based practices, attending conferences, and ensuring adherence to relevant guidelines and contractual obligations (e.g., DBHDD, CARF, ASO). The position emphasizes developing a positive, collaborative work culture, assisting with interviewing and onboarding of new staff, and maintaining program quality through documentation and evaluation of student training and supervision. Minimum qualifications include a Master’s degree with full independent licensure and three years post-graduate experience (including at least one year in a supervisory role). Preferred qualifications include supervisory experience (2+ years), ability to supervise remote staff, EHR competency, and independent work capability.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree with full independent license (LPC, LMFT, LCSW) and three years of postgraduate related experience, with at least one year being in a supervisory role
- commitment to working with adults and youth with severe mental illness
- strong clinical skills (diagnostic impressions/criteria, crisis interventions, individual and group therapy techniques, various therapeutic models)
- proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
