Job Summary
Observe and participate in clinical experiences to assist in providing patient care within an assigned clinical setting while performing related duties as directed. Maintain current enrollment in an accredited Medical Assisting program in good standing and complete one module or quarter of the program prior to hire. Obtain National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association within 30 days of employment. This role supports the mission of improving patient health and wellbeing within the Swedish Medical Group family.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an accredited Medical Assisting Program as a student in good standing
- Must maintain current enrollment and remain in good standing once hired
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification within 30 days of hire
- One module or one quarter of the Medical Assistant program completed before date of hire
