Job Summary
Generate and update master nursing schedules, adjusting for budgetary constraints and census fluctuations. Prepare daily staffing sheets with continual revisions and complete weekly listings of vacant nursing positions. Coordinate with the Director of Nursing to create schedules for new hires, determine training timelines, and fill schedule gaps. Track attendance, manage benefit accrual entries, and process leave of absence requests according to established guidelines. Review daily exception logs to assist with payroll preparation for nursing and administration departments. Maintain positive relationships with agency contacts and ensure all new staff orientation schedules are accurately documented.
Required Qualifications
- Highschool diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of two (2) years of related experience in a high paced environment preferably in staffing/scheduling or operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Medication Technician (Med Tech) strongly preferred
- Prior experience with UKG strongly preferred
