Job Summary
Coordinate daily staffing operations for Float Pool associates to ensure efficient and effective coverage. Manage schedule reviews, updates, and absences while fulfilling staffing requests to maintain optimal unit coverage. Facilitate communication between associates and unit managers to align staffing with skills, availability, and facility needs. Maintain accurate scheduling data within staffing systems while ensuring compliance with hospital policies and staffing guidelines. This role supports Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown's Float Pool Program, helping the nonprofit Catholic health system empower its 97,000+ associates in reimagining healthcare through service and connection.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience
- Prior experience with medical terminology
