Accurately interpret and enter medication orders, check IVs, carts, and kits before dispensing, and ensure timely delivery. Serve as a drug information resource for the health care team while promoting safe use of automated dispensing systems, infusion pumps, and EHR technology. Contact providers promptly regarding drug interactions, allergies, or medication reconciliation issues. Provide supervision to pharmacy technicians and assist in training residents, students, and new staff. Participate in hospital committees and resolve customer complaints to build trust. Adhere to hospital policies, state and federal laws, and regulatory standards. Work independently with a positive attitude toward physicians, nurses, and other personnel.
