Job Summary
Manage medication dosing and monitoring services for 200+ inpatients, participate in the proactive antibiotic stewardship program, and verify orders placed in 100% electronic charts. Lead technician staff while ensuring accurate compounding of IVs using basic math skills. Requires a PharmD, current Alabama license, controlled substance certificate, and hospital pharmacy experience. This part-time role involves moderate physical exertion up to 25 pounds and is located at Springhill Medical Center.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited college of pharmacy
- Current Alabama Pharmacist license
- Valid controlled substance certificate
- Hospital Pharmacy experience
- Basic math skills
- Attention to detail
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to perform moderate physical work exerting up to 25 pounds on a regular basis
- Passing a pre-employment drug screening
