Job Summary
As a Clinical Speech Pathologist at Cleveland Clinic, you will perform diagnostic speech pathology procedures, evaluate communication and swallowing functions, and interpret test results to facilitate medical diagnosis. Responsibilities include providing education and counseling to patients and families, determining therapeutic plans, selecting assistive devices, conducting re-evaluations to assess progress, and maintaining accurate service records. The position requires a Master's Degree in Speech/Language Pathology, relevant state licensure, and clinical certification, with preferred experience in acute care.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech/Language Pathology
- Hold or be eligible for a Speech-Language Pathology License (SP) from the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology in the state of Ohio
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Completion of a nine-month Clinical Fellowship Year
