Job Summary
Speech Pathologist opportunity at Encompass Health in Mumford, TX. Evaluates, assesses, develops, and administers personalized speech-language treatment plans for patients with communication disorders in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. Identifies issues, modifies therapy as needed, and tracks patient performance and response to treatment, celebrating progress. Requires current licensure or state certification, CCC (Clinical Competence), CPR within 30 days of hire, and a Master’s degree (preferred) or Bachelor's with field experience. Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification (state regulations)
- Successful completion of Speech-Language Pathology Certification (CCC)
- CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
- Master's degree preferred or Bachelor's degree with field experience
- Ability to work in inpatient rehabilitation setting
- Knowledge of evaluation, treatment development, and progress documentation
