Job Summary
Clinical Specialist for Vessel Closure in San Diego, CA, responsible for case planning, case coverage, and product pull-through within the designated territory and region. Focuses on educating and supporting hospitals and clinical staff (including Electrophysiologists and Interventional Cardiologists) on vascular products, conducting in-service trainings, and providing clinical and sales support to achieve sales goals and expand market share. Responsibilities include serving as the technical procedure and product expert, meeting with physicians and hospital staff to understand clinical needs, developing relationships with hospital personnel, delivering presentations and demonstrations on vascular products, attending procedures in Cardiac Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology Lab/Operating Room, addressing customer needs and complaints, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize solutions. Requires travel up to 50% and a strong background in clinical education and product knowledge related to vascular devices, stents, catheters, and related therapies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2-5+ years of related work experience
- Ability to travel 50% within assigned region
