Job Summary
Clinical Specialist in New York City responsible for working with sales management within a defined geographic area to identify clinical needs of physicians, hospital offices, and other clinicians and demonstrate interventional products to support patient care. Role emphasizes case coverage, serving as the primary clinical resource for product troubleshooting and education, linking clinical data to messaging, coordinating local education programs, maintaining relationships with key decision makers and staff, and traveling domestically up to 50% to support customers. Requires collaboration with sales team, strong clinical orientation in interventional cardiology/vascular domains, ability to educate on product usage, and experience with vessel closure and cardiovascular devices. Base salary offered with incentive opportunities; strong emphasis on education, training, and customer engagement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Arts or Science
- Medical training preferred (RT, RCIS, Surgical tech, RN, NP, or first assistant)
- 5+ years directly related experience in medical device industry
- Strong clinical orientation in interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, vascular or cardiac surgery
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of MS Office systems
- Travel 25-50%
