Job Summary
Conduct solo case coverage for manual and robotic orthopedic procedures by assisting surgeons with pre-operative CT-based planning, implant sizing, and positioning. Support full case preparation including instrumentation checks, equipment setup, and real-time troubleshooting in the operating room. Manage daily account coordination through inventory management, logistics, and case documentation while building trust-based relationships with surgeons and cross-functional partners. Participate in product demonstrations, cadaver labs, and education programs to maintain competency in Mako technology and manual instrumentation. Provide on-call coverage during evenings, weekends, and holidays to ensure uninterrupted support for urgent cases.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree OR Associate degree with 4 years of professional and/or related experience OR High school diploma with 6 years of professional and/or related experience
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Fluency in written and spoken English required
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Exerting up to 50 lbs of force occasionally and/or up to 20 lbs of force constantly to move objects
- Ability to manage stressful OR situations with professionalism and focus
- Must be available for on-call coverage, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Previous clinical experience (nursing, physical therapy, surgical technology, athletic training, personal training, medical scribing, etc.)
- 1 year of relevant work experience
