Job Summary
Clinical Specialist II at Abbott supporting Electrophysiology products, providing engineering, sales, educational and clinical support to physicians, healthcare professionals, patients, and field staff; develops trainings and programs on EP products; builds credible relationships with customers; provides regional EP procedural coverage; assists in advanced product demonstrations, seminars, and education materials; maintains up-to-date knowledge of EP products, regulatory requirements, and industry trends; requires certification on EP products and accommodates a remote US-based role with travel up to ~50%.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Bio-Medical Engineering, related field or equivalent healthcare experience
- Ability to become certified on EP products
- Minimum of 6 months in Clinical Specialist position
- Minimum of 2 years clinical experience (internal or external with industry competitor)
- Average of 15+ cases a month for 6-12 consecutive months as primary mapper
- Primary mapper on complex cases for 6+ months (minimum of 3 complex cases over last 6 months)
- Demonstrate ability to increase utilization of Abbott Advanced Mapping and Ablation Tools
- Complete monthly sales activities at their Accounts
- Satisfy all vendor credentialing requirements, which may include vaccination for COVID-19
