Job Summary
Clinical Specialist I provides technical clinical expertise and support of the sales process for Abbott Neuromodulation therapies in Houston, TX. Responsibilities include technical, clinical, and programming assistance, after-hours call support, and integrating into accounts to build trust and relationships. Collaborates with Territory Managers to enhance selling time, delivers staff education and in-services, trains customers on product use, and supports capital equipment opportunities while maintaining compliance with FDA and company policies. Requires an Associate degree or technical certification with 1-2 years of clinical experience; strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills; willingness to travel up to 25% and work in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree or technical certification
- 1 - 2 years’ work experience
- Strong ability to communicate, understand and educate clinical data
- Strong clinical skills
- Excellent organizational, time management and prioritizing skills
- Excellent interpersonal verbal, written and presentation skills
- Ability to build strong working relationships with internal/external customers
- Ability to work unpredictable schedule due to operating room schedules
- Ability to travel up to 25%
