Job Summary
Coordinate, support, and collaborate with Enabling Technologies team members for on-site installations, representing Medtronic during technology-enabled procedures to provide technical assistance. Maintain system hardware and software, perform preventative maintenance, and fulfill software and service contract obligations while providing telephone clinical support. Act as the primary customer liaison for repair and technical support issues, reporting status updates and complaints to the Clinical Manager to ensure full resolution. Educate and train physicians and hospital personnel on technical matters relating to technology-enabled procedures, including in-house sponsored training and "train the trainer" initiatives. Work with Spinal Sales and NeuroSurgery Reps to identify prospective new users for navigation and robotics, submit reports, and provide input on new product development based on in-field experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 6 years of clinical, medical sales or medical imaging/navigation/robotics experience
- Associate Degree with a minimum of 4 years of clinical, medical sales or medical imaging/navigation/robotics experience
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of clinical, medical sales or medical imaging/navigation/robotics experience
- Valid driver's license
- Active vehicle insurance policy
- Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment
- Normal vision
- Ability to be independently mobile
- Ability to interact with a computer
- Ability to communicate with peers and co-workers
- Ability to stand, sit, walk, talk, hear and reach with hands and arms
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
Desired Qualifications
- RT and/or MRI certification
- Prior experience with Image Guided Systems
- MRI Operating room experience
- Local qualified candidates
- Medtronic experience
