Job Summary
Loads, delivers and sets up durable medical equipment, oxygen and supplies to patients in their homes; demonstrates equipment operation by providing instruction for use of medical equipment in the home; ensures a safe patient environment as it relates to equipment; completes follow-up visits for non-clinical respiratory patients; conducts Home Environmental Assessments for oxygen patients; assists patients in solving equipment-related problems; completes necessary paperwork and required documentation; exchanges equipment due for maintenance; sets up and picks up diagnostic studies and ensures delivery to appropriate physician; responds to emergency calls with clinical back up as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Two year degree, preferably in healthcare related field.
- Familiarity with medical documentation systems.
- Ability to use navigation system and follow maps.
