Job Summary

Provide clinical case coverage as assigned and train the surgical team to assist in good patient outcomes. Deliver intra-operative clinical product support while maintaining and preparing equipment/kits for surgery, including Quality Control audits. Troubleshoot equipment according to standard procedure and ensure compliance with all company policies regarding label promotion and interactions with healthcare professionals. Acquire and maintain current knowledge of perioperative surgical technology practice and hospital policies. Assist in the delivery of procedural training to physicians and medical staff, ensuring 100% inventory accuracy against shipping documents. Report to the Director, Professional Education and coordinate with Territory and Regional Business Managers.

  • ability to proctor cases to excellence
  • ability to independently cover CVAC procedures
  • ability to train the surgical team on the safe and effective uses of the device
  • familiarity with the surgical procedure
  • familiarity with instruments
  • familiarity with supplies
  • familiarity with equipment
  • ability to train the surgical team on instrument preparation prior to cases
  • ability to train the surgical team during the surgical procedure
  • current knowledge of perioperative surgical technology practice
  • knowledge of hospital policies and procedures
  • ability to serve as an educational resource to customers completing CVAC Aspiration System procedures
  • ability to demonstrate appropriate interactions with all hospital service providers
  • ability to maintain and prepare equipment/kits for surgery
  • ability to perform Quality Control audits of equipment/kits
  • ability to troubleshoot equipment according to standard procedure
  • ability to provide intra-operative clinical product support
  • ability to ensure 100% of received inventory and returned inventory matches with shipping documents
  • ability to assist in the delivery of procedural training to physicians and medical staff
  • ability to ensure compliance with all company policies, including the quality policy, on label promotion and interactions with health care professionals
