Job Summary
Clinical Specialist in CardioVascular Surgery delivering technical, clinical, and educational support for Medtronic Surgical Based Therapy products. Responsibilities include educating physicians and OR staff on indications, techniques, and use of SBT devices; leading first-case and complex-case procedures; coordinating wet labs and hands-on training; supporting physician adoption and growth through collaboration with sales and Medical Affairs; and maintaining expertise across Heart Valve, Left Atrial Appendage Management, Repair, Surgical Ablation, and Revascularization portfolios. This role requires residency within the territory and 60–70% travel to accounts in Houston, San Antonio, and the Rio Grande Valley, with involvement in physician education programs, event participation, and ongoing clinical support.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma with a minimum of 8 years experience including cath lab, CVOR, or Clinical experience OR Associate Diploma with a minimum of 6 years experience OR Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience
