Job Summary
Conduct CMS-regulated surveys of long-term care facilities, accrediting and certifying them while maintaining current LCSW licensure. Manage the survey process through independent decision-making, set priorities for collective task performance, and resolve conflicts openly. Requires Master's degree in Social Work, successful completion of CMS Long-Term Care Basic Training and SMQT, plus two years of recent surveyor experience. U.S. Citizenship is required with up to 75% travel on a regular basis. Full-time Monday through Friday schedule includes $72,000-$80,000 annual compensation, 401k match, HSA, and comprehensive health, dental, vision, and life insurance.
Required Qualifications
- CMS's Long-Term Care Basic Training
- SMQT certification
- Master's degree in Social Work
- successfully completed CMS's Long-Term Care Basic Training and passed the Surveyor Minimum Qualifications Test (SMQT)
- at least two (2) years of recent experience working as a surveyor accrediting or certifying facilities that serve the residents of long-term care facilities
- current licensure to practice as an LCSW
- independent decision-making skills to direct and effectively manage the survey process
- set priorities independently and collectively in performing survey tasks
- openly discuss conflicts/controversy, and to seek assistance when appropriate to make decisions and resolve conflicts
- U.S. Citizenship
- travel up to 75% of the time on a regular basis
