Job Summary
Provide clinical social work services to children and adolescents with thyroid nodules and cancer, including psychosocial assessments, crisis intervention, and resource navigation via in-person and telehealth modalities. Collaborate with the thyroid and endocrine mental health teams to support coping, adjust to medical diagnoses, and address family distress, trauma, or domestic violence concerns. Help patients and families access services within and outside the BCH system while developing new programmatic initiatives for the Thyroid Center. Requires LCSW licensure in Massachusetts with a Master's degree, and offers a $2,500 sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in social work
- LCSW Social Work licensure in the state of Massachusetts
- Flexibility and ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
