Job Summary

Deliver structured classroom-based training, practical ward-based training, and simulation sessions across several hospital sites. Provide structured support and supervision to clinical staff, students and newly qualified clinicians ensuring safe practice, professional growth and alignment with professional standards. Provide one-to-one and group support for staff undertaking training, apprenticeships, or return-to-practice programmes. Encourage participation in education and training programmes to maximise engagement and completion rates. Assist with education-related quality audits and evaluations. Maintain own clinical competence to remain a credible teacher and role model. Maintain own educational development and promote innovative learning approaches using new technology and media.

Required Qualifications

  • Registered Health Care Professional with current professional registration
  • Significant clinical experience relevant to the role
  • IT literate with the ability to use various systems and programmes including Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience delivering clinical skills training and supporting learning in practice
  • Ability to assess clinical competence and provide constructive feedback
  • Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
