Job Summary
Conduct site visits to clinical practicum locations throughout Louisiana, typically once per 8-Week Session, to evaluate student progress and exhibit Chamberlain Care® behaviors. Identify opportunities to enhance student engagement by reaching out to diverse student bodies and responding quickly to requests for help. Introduce industry perspective into courses by sharing professional experiences, nursing trends, and opportunities with undergraduate and graduate students. Maintain reliable transportation and willingness to travel to multiple designated sites during weekday daytime hours.
Required Qualifications
- MSN and DNP or PHD in nursing degree
- Active unencumbered Louisiana RN nursing license
- Active unencumbered Louisiana APRN nursing license
- National certification through the AANP or ANCC
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness to travel to a variety of clinical practicum sites throughout the region
- Availability and willingness to travel to a variety of clinical practicum sites throughout the region, typically one site visit per 8-Week Session for each designated location, typically during weekday/daytime hours
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing practice in a clinical setting
- Required subject matter expertise in the course of instruction
- Excellent communication skills
- Motivational skills
- Instructional skills in a diverse and non-traditional environment
