Job Summary
Conduct clinical site visits to multiple practicum locations throughout Louisiana, typically once per 8-Week Session for each designated site. Display Chamberlain Care by demonstrating care, respect, and professionalism to foster collaboration among students and staff. Be readily available to meet the diverse needs of the student body, identifying opportunities to enhance engagement and responding quickly to requests for help. Introduce industry perspective into courses by sharing professional experience, nursing trends, and career opportunities with undergraduate and graduate students.
Required Qualifications
- MSN and DNP or PHD in nursing degree
- Active unencumbered Louisiana RN nursing license
- Active unencumbered Louisiana APRN nursing license
- National certification through the AANP or ANCC
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness to travel to a variety of clinical practicum sites throughout the region
- Availability and willingness to travel during weekday/daytime hours
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience
- Preference for graduate level teaching experience
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing practice in a clinical setting
- Required subject matter expertise in the course of instruction
- Excellent communication skills
- Motivational skills
- Instructional skills in a diverse and non-traditional environment
