Job Summary
Conduct site visits to clinical practicum locations throughout Louisiana, typically once per 8-Week Session for each designated site. Exhibit Chamberlain Care by demonstrating care, respect, and professionalism while fostering collaboration among students and faculty. Be readily available to meet the diverse needs of the student body and identify opportunities to enhance engagement by responding quickly to student requests for help. Bring professional experience to life by introducing industry perspectives, sharing nursing trends, and providing subject matter expertise in course instruction. Maintain reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various weekday locations.
Required Qualifications
- MSN and DNP or PHD in nursing degree
- Active unencumbered Louisiana RN nursing license
- Active unencumbered Louisiana APRN nursing license
- National certification through the AANP or ANCC
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness to travel to a variety of clinical practicum sites throughout the region
- Availability and willingness to travel to a variety of clinical practicum sites throughout the region, typically one site visit per 8-Week Session for each designated location, typically during weekday/daytime hours
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing practice in a clinical setting
- Required subject matter expertise in the course of instruction
- Excellent communication skills
- Motivational skills
- Instructional skills in a diverse and non-traditional environment
