Job Summary
Conduct clinical site visits across Louisiana, typically once per 8-Week Session at designated practicum locations, to evaluate student progress and ensure alignment with educational standards. Exhibit Chamberlain Care by demonstrating care, respect, and professionalism while fostering collaboration among students and faculty. Be readily available to meet the diverse needs of the student body, identifying opportunities to enhance engagement and responding quickly to requests for assistance. Integrate professional experience into courses by sharing industry perspectives, nursing trends, and practical opportunities with undergraduate and graduate students. Maintain reliable transportation and willingness to travel during weekday daytime hours to support multiple sites.
Required Qualifications
- MSN and DNP or PHD in nursing degree
- Active unencumbered Louisiana RN nursing license
- Active unencumbered Louisiana APRN nursing license
- National certification through the AANP or ANCC
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness to travel to a variety of clinical practicum sites throughout the region
- Availability and willingness to travel to a variety of clinical practicum sites throughout the region, typically one site visit per 8-Week Session for each designated location, typically during weekday/daytime hours
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing practice in a clinical setting
- Required subject matter expertise in the course of instruction
- Excellent communication skills

- Instructional skills in a diverse and non-traditional environment
