Job Summary
Conduct clinical site visits at multiple practicum locations throughout Louisiana, typically once per 8-Week Session, with visits lasting 1-2 hours. Exhibit Chamberlain Care by demonstrating care, respect, and professionalism to foster collaboration among students and staff. Be readily available to meet the diverse needs of the student body, including reaching out to students in need and responding quickly to requests for help. Bring professional experience to life by introducing industry perspectives, sharing nursing trends, and enhancing student engagement. Maintain reliable transportation and willingness to travel to designated weekday/daytime sites.
Required Qualifications
- MSN and DNP or PHD in nursing degree
- Active unencumbered Louisiana RN nursing license
- Active unencumbered Louisiana APRN nursing license
- National certification through the AANP or ANCC
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness to travel to a variety of clinical practicum sites throughout the region
- Availability and willingness to travel during weekday/daytime hours
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience
- Preference for graduate level teaching experience
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing practice in a clinical setting
- Required subject matter expertise in the course of instruction
- Excellent communication skills
- Motivational skills
- Instructional skills in a diverse and non-traditional environment
