Job Summary
Conduct clinical site visits at multiple practicum locations throughout Louisiana, typically once per 8-Week Session, to evaluate student performance and ensure program standards. Demonstrate Chamberlain Care® by modeling care, respect, and professionalism while fostering collaboration among students and faculty. Identify opportunities to enhance student engagement by reaching out to diverse learners and responding quickly to academic needs. Integrate industry perspective into courses by sharing current nursing trends and professional development insights with undergraduate and graduate students. Maintain reliable transportation and availability to travel to designated clinical sites during weekday daytime hours.
Required Qualifications
- MSN and DNP or PHD in nursing degree
- Active unencumbered Louisiana RN nursing license
- Active unencumbered Louisiana APRN nursing license
- National certification through the AANP or ANCC
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness to travel to a variety of clinical practicum sites throughout the region
- Availability and willingness to travel during weekday/daytime hours
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience
- Preference for graduate level teaching experience
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing practice in a clinical setting
- Required subject matter expertise in the course of instruction
- Excellent communication skills
- Motivational skills
- Instructional skills in a diverse and non-traditional environment
