Clinical Services Nurse Specialist

Conduct autonomous therapeutic apheresis procedures in critical care, emergency rooms, and outpatient centers, including plasma exchange, red cell exchange, and stem cell harvests. Perform venipunctures, manage central venous catheters, and assess patient status relative to procedures using the nursing process and laboratory results. Act as a consultant to external healthcare personnel, coordinate treatments with physicians, and evaluate medication compatibility for safety. Assemble, restock, and maintain supplies and equipment to ensure a clean, safe work environment. Travel to multiple hospitals and Red Cross sites as part of a rotating on-call schedule.
