Job Summary
Develop and implement operational and program strategic plans in collaboration with leadership. Define organizational supports and structures to ensure safe, efficient patient care aligned with professional standards. Identify improvement areas, secure resources, and implement processes to enhance service delivery and staff engagement. Assess data to drive timely, exceptional services and work with clinical educators and partners to raise practice standards. Hire, mentor, and coach staff while managing service financial resources and supply equipment. Foster high-performing teams through bidirectional communication and community partnerships. Monitor patient, family, and staff engagement results to drive continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Current relevant designation in a professional technical discipline
- Undergraduate Degree
- Minimum of five (5) years recent management/ leadership experience within a clinical environment
- Demonstrated effective leadership, planning and project management skills
- Excellent oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills
- Demonstrated understanding of patient flow processes which are safe and efficient
- Established reputation as a consultative and collaborative leader
Desired Qualifications
- Health Discipline Professional designation
- Master's Degree
- Excellent clinical knowledge and experience in Emergency Services
- Demonstrated ability to establish effective interpersonal relationships within and outside the organization
- Ability to establish and maintain an engaged workforce, with a service-oriented focus
- Highly motivated and self-directed team player
