Job Summary
Supervise and coordinate daily clinic operations for surgical specialties, including patient care and business processes. Collect and document assessment data, develop patient Plans of Care, and evaluate progress toward desired outcomes. Administer medication per standards, verify care consistency with patient-centered principles, and integrate evidence into nursing practices. Provide patient and family education, discharge planning, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and executive leaders. Communicate care through documentation, report system variances, and participate in staff recruitment and retention. Facilitate evidence-based nursing practice standards compliant with ANA guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Current University of Arkansas System employee
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program
- Bachelor's in Nursing
- At least 5 years of experience in nursing
- At least 3 of those years in a supervisory capacity
- Valid License as a Registered Nurse by the State of Arkansas
- Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment
- Annual TB Screening
- Criminal Background Check
- Substance Abuse Testing
