Clinical Scribe I

Ophthalmic Clinical Scribe I to join Midwest Vision Partners’ eye care team. Responsibilities include assisting physicians with in-office procedures, documenting patient workups and OD/MD comments in the EMR, preparing exam rooms, guiding patients to/from rooms, applying eye medications, providing chair-side assistance, reviewing care instructions, and performing eye exams and tests (A-scans, B-scans, fundus photography, corneal topography, HRTII, pachymetry), as well as measuring intraocular pressure and reading eyeglass prescriptions. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, and strong computer/typing skills; prior medical scribe EMR experience and medical terminology knowledge are preferred. Typical entry-level role with 0-3 years of experience.
