Clinical Scientist

Clinical Scientist develops clinical roadmaps for specific application areas based on healthcare trends and market insights, supports product strategy and clinical policy development, and collaborates with R&D, marketing, sales, and service teams to translate clinical findings into product enhancements. The role involves presenting research findings at customer presentations, site visits, and events to support market adoption, evaluating emerging medical technologies to guide the innovation pipeline, and communicating unmet clinical needs to inform development. The candidate leverages clinical and technical knowledge (including MR technology), contributes to design and execution of clinical trials, and strengthens Philips' leadership in medical technology through cross-functional collaboration and robust data analysis and technical writing. For EU operations, the role is described as field-oriented with a requirement for on-site engagement in France (Paris) and potential remote work within FR guidelines, aligned with the organization’s remote-work policies.
