Job Summary
Operationally and scientifically lead complex clinical studies in translational medicine; drive global execution of clinical trials from study design and setup to final reporting, ensuring timely delivery and patient-centric focus. Lead and matrix-manage robust global trial teams, collaborate with investigators and service providers, and develop study protocols and execution plans. Ensure quality conduct and documentation across the trial lifecycle, perform and oversee clinical data reviews, mentor junior team members, and contribute to program-level plans. Drive adoption of optimized methodologies in trial operations and leverage data and digital tools to accelerate bringing new therapies closer to patients. Location-based in Basel with up to 5% travel; role emphasizes leadership, collaboration, and scientific/operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
- BSc in life sciences (minimum)
- MSc, PharmD or PhD desired
- 2-4 years of clinical trial management/operations experience for Clinical Sciences Trial Leader
- 4+ years of experience for Sr. Clinical Sciences Trial Leader
- leadership potential and strong interpersonal skills
- ability to collaborate across a wide range of people and partner with sites/service providers
- strong project management, planning, prioritization, and organizational skills
