Clinical Science Lead

Job Summary
Lead the clinical science function for Neverstop, translating complex wellness and health data into actionable product logic and establishing the evidentiary foundation behind product claims. Own measurement and risk metrics, design clinical safety guardrails for the AI coach, develop intervention matching and recommendation logic in collaboration with product and engineering, and drive scientific validation. Produce white papers and carrier outcome reports to strengthen external credibility. Own the clinical science foundation for the digital underwriting product, including scoring design, back-testing against outcomes, crosswalks to validated instruments, and carrier-facing evidence. This senior role requires a mix of epidemiology/outcomes research rigor and business-savvy, with the opportunity to shape a scaling clinical function and lead the discipline as the company grows.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced degree (M.Sc./M.A. with a thesis or PhD) in Epidemiology, Medical Sciences, Neuroscience, Public Health, Health Economics or related field
- 3+ years of industry experience in digital health, outcomes research, or health economics
- Experience as sole functional owner leading cross-functional teams to deliver clinical validation
- Experience productizing clinical ideas and frameworks for market
- Experience designing clinical measurement frameworks, risk-reduction metrics, or psychometric instruments
- Hands-on data analysis with Python or R is a distinct advantage
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
