Job Summary
Lead all scheduling matters for the clinical float pool, acting as the point person for initial scheduling with buildings after HR clearance. Master the staffing schedule to identify fillable vacancies for FT/PT ESS staff, then prepare daily staffing sheets with continual revisions. Maintain accurate logs of assignments, per diem pickups, and building clearances while tracking attendance and reviewing monthly hours in Kronos. Troubleshoot staffing complexities, balance critical positions, and complete weekly listings of vacant nursing positions. Schedule time off requests per guidelines and ensure at least one other staff member is trained on the role. Collaborate with ESS and Agency Program Managers to coordinate staffing, implement policies, and communicate status changes for both internal and agency staff.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of Associates degree
- Minimum of six (6) years of related experience in a high paced environment preferably in staffing/scheduling or operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Prior experience with scheduling platforms, specifically Kronos
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level
