Job Summary
Create and manage daily and weekly schedules for clinical staff, ensuring appropriate staffing levels based on client needs, preferences, and availability. Communicate schedule updates and changes to clients, families, and clinical staff while responding proactively to last-minute changes, call-offs, and urgent client needs. Maintain accurate records of schedules, authorizations, and client information within scheduling software and electronic health records (EHR) systems, adhering to all HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with the Clinical Manager, Intake team, and other staff to coordinate admissions, initial visits, and ensure smooth transitions of care.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Personable & Empathetic: A friendly and positive demeanor with exceptional interpersonal skills, fostering trust and rapport with clients and caregivers
- Highly Organized: Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail to manage complex schedules and multiple priorities effectively
- Strong Communication: Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills for interacting with diverse individuals
- Problem-Solver & Proactive: Ability to anticipate potential scheduling conflicts and find innovative solutions to ensure seamless care delivery
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using scheduling software and Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of medical terminology and home health care operations is a plus
