Job Summary
Responsible for managing biospecimen workflows including receiving, labeling, storage, processing, and shipping of samples; coordinate with Client Services, Sample Tracking Solutions, and Clinical Trial Materials to ensure timely handling; perform QC, accessioning, GDP compliance, dry ice handling, and data entry; maintain storage equipment; complete required training and education hours; respond to emails and collaborate with multiple departments to ensure accurate specimen handling and documentation.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- BA/BS in laboratory science, health science, or business; or associate’s degree with at least 2 years relevant experience preferred
- Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency
- Ability to work with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to read and interpret safety and procedure manuals
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- GDP knowledge and universal safety precautions
