Job Summary
Clinical Sales Specialist for Surgical Pain in Houston North, TX, responsible for driving the clinical aspects of the sale through education, physician and staff support during product trials, and new account implementations in healthcare settings. Acts as a technical expert to assist the Field Sales Team in building and maintaining relationships with facility staff, presents Pain Management products, conducts product demonstrations and in-service training, supports the capital sales process, and develops knowledge of reimbursement related to Surgical Pain Management. Collaborates with the Territory Manager to develop and implement strategic sales plans, executes trials and implementations, provides classroom-style training and live OR/office support, stays current with industry trends and competitor activities, and travels to customer sites as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and two years of experience in a clinical field (nursing, surgical tech, radiology tech, etc.) OR Associate’s degree and 4 years of experience in a clinical field
- Technical experience in the medical field with strong understanding of OR and procedural suites
- Demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Deep understanding of medical terminology and clinical practices
- Solid knowledge of PC based applications (Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Ability to travel frequently and often
- Ability to work early mornings
- Ability to lead in the face of ambiguity
- Ability to grasp complex issues quickly and drive results
- Must be able to lift 35 pounds
- Evidence of continued personal and professional growth and development
