Job Summary
Provide clinical and sales support through education of current and potential customers and procedure coverage with a defined region. Train interventional cardiologists, catheter lab staff, and ancillary personnel on the use of Structural Heart products, including the Amplatzer Congenital offering for ASD, PDA, and VSD. Serve as the primary resource for surgical coverage, troubleshooting, and in-service education while communicating product, clinical, and market data to appropriate personnel. Meet with existing and potential clients to identify clinical needs and provide creative solutions, actively engaging in technical discussions to link data outcomes to key messaging. Collaborate with Territory Managers to ensure good case coverage and clinical outcomes for patients. This role requires 9+ years of cardiovascular work experience with 3+ years in Structural Heart or Electrophysiology. Travel is in excess of 50%.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA or equivalent experience
- 9+ years of related cardiovascular work experience
- 3+ years of which is Structural Heart or Electrophysiology specific clinical experience
- Verification that you will satisfy all vendor credentialing requirements, which may include vaccination for COVID-19
Desired Qualifications
- Degree in life sciences or medical training (RN, EMT, Perfusion, etc.)
- Strong clinical orientation
- Experience with products for use in interventional cardiology and cardiac surgery
- Familiarity with echo cardiology and other indirect imaging
